City Year is a National Youth Service programme that engages a diverse group of youth in a year of voluntary service and leadership development. The programme is made up of three key parts - Service, Training and Exit Opportunities.
City Year seeks to appoint a Case Officer, based in Johannesburg, to report to the Youth Development and Support Manager.
S/he will be supporting Service Leaders Service Leaders (SLs) to reinforce integrated learning. S/he will ensure that SLs are coping with the various components of the youth programme, will identify specific and individual support needs and provide practical support and will refer to specialist service providers where necessary and to plan exit strategy options.
